Mockz

Changelog

What changed in each version of Mockz.

0.1.0 · 2026-10-28

The first version to install, when Mockz was still called Atelier. Open the .dmg, drag the app into Applications, and design without a checkout, Node or a terminal.

Design

  • Every screen at every frame size, live, on a board you pan and zoom. Screens are grouped by folder, flows are drawn as labeled arrows, and Play clicks through them.
  • Change a design yourself: draw frames, shapes and text, drag padding and gaps, and set layout, size, type and fill with controls that know the theme. Every change is written into the screen's own file.
  • Smart guides and snapping while you drag and resize. Nudge with the arrow keys, line up and space out what is picked, and copy and paste layers between screens.
  • The project's own components, each in every state on a Components page, with their inputs set where they are used. Fonts are kept as files, from your own or from Google Fonts.

The agent

  • Point at anything and ask. The agent (Claude Code, in this version) reads the screen as it is laid out, changes the files and checks what it drew. You keep or undo each answer. Try 3 directions asks for three to choose from.
  • The Workbench: your own place to try things before they are part of the design.

Working as a team

  • Versions are kept with Git. Proposals are reviewed as pull requests on GitHub, with pictures of what changed, and review mode answers them.
  • Comments, notes and statuses travel with the design.
  • Share a screen, a group or the whole board as PNGs, as a PDF, or as a private link on GitHub for anyone who can see the project.

Handoff

  • Develop mode reads any layer as CSS with the theme's tokens, writes a screen as React, and checks the built page against the mock.

Reliability

  • Undo survives a reload, and quitting and restarting the app.
